
Suspects, believed to have provided support to the Peshawar school attackers, were arrested during the search operation, The News International reported citing sources.
The crackdown comes as the investigation into the Peshawar school attack continues. Investigation and forensic teams of the police collected evidence from the Army Public School, the target of the attack.
The investigation teams also met the eyewitnesses of the attack and recorded their statements.
A special anti-terrorism team is carrying out a probe into the attack while investigations by district police and intelligence agencies also continues.
Tuesday, Taliban gunmen stormed the Army Public School in Peshawar and carried out one of the most horrific terrorist attacks in the history of Pakistan. The ghastly attack left 141 people, mostly students, dead.
